According to information from the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), at 10:00 a.m. on June 30, at Van Don Toll Station (on Ha Long - Mong Cai Expressway, Quang Ninh), the Working Group of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 2 (Team 2) inspected a Land Cruiser car, at that time with license plate 80B - 9189, due to many unclear signs.

During the inspection, the traffic police identified the driver as Mr. Nguyen Dinh H. (born in 1974, residing in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi).

Through inspection, the Working Group continued to discover that the car used a license plate flipping device with license plate 29A-455.65. Checking the vehicle registration database system of the Traffic Police Department determined that license plate 80B - 9189 was issued to a vehicle under the management of a central agency.

Driver Nguyen Dinh H. admitted to the Working Group that in fact the Land Cruiser he was driving had license plate 29A-455.65 and he had arbitrarily installed a license plate flipping device with one side showing the vehicle's correct license plate and the other side showing a fake license plate 80B - 9189.

The working group of Team 2 is verifying signs of profiteering by driver Nguyen Dinh H. when he drove a car with a fake blue license plate through toll stations, appropriating the road toll of vehicle 80B - 9189.

The case is currently being handled by Team 2 in coordination with the Investigation Police Agency of Van Don District Police (Quang Ninh) according to regulations.
