Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day takes place from April 17 to 20 at the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi.

Within the framework of the event, the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village held a conference to review the coordination work with localities to mobilize ethnic minorities to organize activities at the Village, with the contents of summarizing and evaluating the coordination work to mobilize ethnic minorities to participate in activities at the Village, reviewing and evaluating the implementation of the Coordination Regulations between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committees of provinces/cities in directing the mobilization of ethnic minorities to organize daily activities at the Village, praising and rewarding localities and groups of ethnic minorities who are active...

In addition, on the morning of April 19, representatives of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam reported their achievements and visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site.

At the Village, there will be many activities imbued with the cultural identity of ethnic groups, such as reenacting the Chol Chnam Thmay festival of the Khmer people in Soc Trang province (afternoon of April 19), introducing and promoting tourism, exhibiting images of Soc Trang province, reenacting the coming-of-age ceremony of the Ede people in Dak Lak province (April 20), introducing Ede ethnic music, performing Central Highlands coffee, displaying typical products and traditional handicrafts.

Along with the activities of Soc Trang and Dak Lak, Thanh Hoa province also has activities to introduce unique ethnic cultures such as reenacting the New Rice Celebration of the Tho ethnic group in Thanh Hoa province (April 20), and the exchange "Colors of the Highlands".

Besides, there are activities of ethnic communities operating daily at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village such as introducing and reenacting customs, rituals, costumes, folk songs, folk dances, ethnic cuisine, traditional crafts, folk games, etc.
