Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Nam Giang informed that the event of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, associated with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Tay Ninh, is a very important event, each person only witnesses this event once in their lifetime, thereby seeing the achievements of the country in general and Tay Ninh in particular after 50 years of renovation, under the leadership of the Party and State, people's lives are increasingly improved, the economy and society are developing, people live in prosperity and happiness.

In addition, the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee have selected key projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country; restored and embellished the Southern Central Bureau Base Relic Site, built spacious roads to serve tourists returning to their roots. Tay Ninh Province is honored to be selected by the Government as the Southern Central Bureau Base Relic Site as one of 80 key projects nationwide to celebrate major holidays. In particular, the project to expand Xuan Hong Park and establish a square to serve people and tourists is being carried out on schedule, this will be the place where a series of activities associated with the event of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Tay Ninh will take place.

Up to now, the construction units are urgently carrying out the items. At 7:30 a.m. on April 25, the Organizing Committee will cut the ribbon to open the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification, associated with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Tay Ninh.

At the press conference, reporters from news agencies asked many questions related to traffic safety, whether accommodation facilities can accommodate the increasing number of tourists visiting Tay Ninh, and environmental sanitation issues.

Mr. Nguyen Nam Giang said that the provincial police have issued a plan to regulate and divert traffic during major events, avoiding traffic jams and ensuring traffic safety for people when traveling. There are currently more than 600 accommodation establishments in the province, mainly concentrated in the central area of ​​Tay Ninh City, including 2 5-star hotels. On weekends, star-rated establishments are often full, while small establishments and motels still have rooms.

Regarding environmental sanitation, the Organizing Committee will coordinate with the People's Committee of Tay Ninh City to install additional mobile toilets at Xuan Hong Park to serve people during the event days. At the same time, a team of sanitation workers will be on duty to clean up, avoiding the image of garbage spoiling the urban beauty.

The organizers will build a separate space to display 9 types of intangible cultural heritage of Tay Ninh, and develop a script to tell the story of each type: such as Trang Bang rice paper making, incense making... for visitors to experience in real life.
