Suzuki Fronx "affordable" revealed in Vietnam, launching in the second quarter of 2025?

According to some sources from the dealer, the new Suzuki Fronx 2025 will likely be officially introduced in the second quarter of this year. Currently, Suzuki Vietnam has not released any official information related to this model.

Previously, some dealers also revealed the possibility of launching a new generation Swift, but the distributor denied it. Therefore, information about the 2025 Suzuki Fronx SUV is still being confirmed by consumers and experts.

Suzuki Fronx appeared in Vietnam as a small SUV/crossover model, first introduced in the Indian market in 2023. The car is developed based on the Baleno hatchback platform but has a sporty design, high chassis typical of urban SUVs.

Previously, a camouflaged Fronx version was caught testing in Indonesia in February 2025, which raised speculation about the possibility of the car being launched soon in Southeast Asia, in which Vietnam could be the first market to receive this model.

Fronx has overall dimensions of length x width x height of 3,995 x 1,765 x 1,550 mm. The appearance of Fronx has many similarities with Suzuki Grand Vitara, especially in the front of the car with a sharp grille and headlights.

The front bumper is angular, combined with fog lights placed in triangular recesses to create a prominent highlight.

The interior of the Fronx is modern, with a 9-inch central touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The steering wheel has a familiar design like on other Suzuki models such as the XL7, Ertiga or Swift.

In the Indian market, the Suzuki Fronx has two petrol engine options. The first is a 1.0L BoosterJet turbocharged engine combined with mild hybrid technology, producing 99 horsepower and 148 Nm of torque, with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

The second is the 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet naturally aspirated engine, with a capacity of 89 horsepower, 113 Nm of torque, combined with a 5-speed manual transmission or AMT (AGS) automatic transmission. In Vietnam, it is likely that Fronx will only use an automatic transmission to suit consumer tastes.
