On the afternoon of June 30, in Sam Son City, Sun Group Corporation officially put Sam Son Water Park in the Sun World Sam Son Entertainment Complex with a scale of nearly 6,000 billion VND in Thanh Hoa into operation to welcome guests. Only about 1 hour after the opening ceremony on the afternoon of June 30, nearly 4,000 visitors bought tickets to play at Sam Son Water Park.
Located in Quang Chau and Quang Tien wards, right on Nam Song Ma Avenue - Sam Son gateway, about 13km from Thanh Hoa city center and only about 1.5km from Sam Son beach, Sun World Sam Son includes Water Park - Sam Son Water Park and theme park.

With a total area of over 33.5 hectares and a total investment of nearly 6,000 billion VND, this is the 8th entertainment complex under the Sun World brand of Sun Group, and is the largest outdoor entertainment park complex with the largest investment scale and area in the North Central region.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Thi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee emphasized: "With the launch of Sam Son Water Park, an outdoor entertainment complex with the largest investment scale and area in the North, where visitors can experience the first thrilling slide in Asia, exciting and fun games suitable for many ages..., Sam Son tourism in particular and Thanh Hoa tourism in general have added a new, impressive and classy tourism product, an attractive destination, helping to extend the length of stay of visitors, creating a faster and stronger breakthrough for Thanh tourism".
Thanh Hoa provincial leaders also expressed their hope that this will also be an impressive start for a series of projects at Sun Group's Sun World Sam Son Entertainment Complex, which are continuing to be invested in, soon completed and put into operation in the near future. "We believe that the success of Sun Group's resort and entertainment projects in Thanh Hoa province will be an important boost in effectively exploiting the value of resources to become high-class tourism products; creating a strong impression, shaping the brand, enhancing the position and promoting Thanh Hoa tourism to grow dramatically" - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi emphasized.

Of which, visitors to Sam Son reached 5,740,000, accounting for 65% of the total number of visitors to the province. The total number of visitors and tourism revenue of Thanh Hoa in general and Sam Son in particular have continuously increased over the years and recovered strongly after the pandemic, especially after unique tourism products invested by Sun Group were put into operation from 2023 such as the Sea Square, festival landscape axis, water music show, bustling commercial townhouses, etc.

Ticket prices at Sam Son Water Park from July 1 to August 11 will be 350,000 VND/adult and 250,000 VND/child on weekdays; 500,000 VND/adult and 400,000 VND/child on weekends. For Thanh Hoa residents, ticket prices will be applied at special preferential rates of 250,000 - 400,000 VND/adult and 200,000 - 300,000 VND/child depending on weekdays or weekends.
