Fake milk is often sold live.
Fake and low-quality milk products mostly focus on products for children, pregnant women, the elderly, people with underlying diseases, etc. They are often consumed through online distribution channels such as e-commerce platforms, social networks, livestreams, etc. and are advertised as "miracle drugs", making it difficult for authorities to control and handle.
Fake milk has just been discovered by the investigation agency.

That is one of the contents stated in Official Dispatch No. 15/CV-HHS of the Vietnam Dairy Association sent to the Ministry of Public Security and related ministries, requesting to strengthen the work of preventing and combating counterfeit dairy products.
The document stated that the production and trade of counterfeit, fake, and poor-quality goods under the name of dairy products is on the rise, becoming more complex and sophisticated, affecting the health of consumers, the reputation of businesses, as well as trust in the domestic dairy market.
"The production, trading and use of fake milk can lead to serious consequences for the health of consumers, especially children, pregnant women, the elderly, and people with underlying diseases... Fake milk can contain toxic ingredients, causing acute or chronic poisoning, reducing the ability to absorb nutrients necessary for the body's development, causing consumers to face long-term health problems," the letter from the Vietnam Dairy Association expressed concern.
Regarding the large-scale fake milk production case recently discovered by the police, the Vietnam Dairy Association affirmed that the two fake milk production enterprises, Hacofood Group Nutrition Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Rance Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, with goods worth hundreds of billions of VND, are not members of this association.
