The proud mission of journalists

Truyền hình Thông tấnTruyền hình Thông tấn21/06/2024

Ninety-nine years ago, on June 21, 1925, in Guangzhou (China), the first issue of the newspaper "Thanh Nien" (Youth) – the official organ of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association founded by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc – was published. This newspaper laid the foundation for revolutionary journalism in Vietnam. June 21st each year is also an occasion for every journalist to feel more deeply the honor and responsibility of "serving the people, serving the revolution." Looking back over the past nearly a century, Vietnamese journalists have fulfilled this responsibility well, always accompanying the country and the nation throughout the years of war, into the period of peace, reform, and integration. We invite you to look back at the glorious, proud, yet extremely challenging mission of Vietnamese revolutionary journalists through the presentation by Editor Phung Trang.
