On February 15th, at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the "Spring Colors Across the Nation" festival for the Year of the Snake 2025, aiming to introduce the unique cultural features and customs of the 54 ethnic groups across the country. On February 15th, the 2025 military conscription ceremony took place in Moc Chau town, Son La province. On the afternoon of February 15, the Hamas Islamic movement released three Israeli hostages in Gaza after 497 days of captivity. The three hostages, Alexander Sasha Troufanov (Russian and Israeli), Yair Horn (Israeli and Argentinian), and Sagui Dekel-Chen (American and Israeli), were captured near the Gaza border in October 2023. The release of these three hostages was in exchange for Israel's release of 369 Palestinian prisoners. This was the sixth hostage and prisoner exchange under Phase 1 of the ceasefire agreement currently in effect in the Gaza Strip.
