It comes with 759 autofocus points with autofocus areas covering approximately 94% of the image area. Full AF/AE tracking allows the a7C II to shoot up to 10 frames per second using either the mechanical or electronic shutter.
In addition, the device also has a dedicated AI processor, expanded subject detection autofocus capabilities. The manufacturer says AI brings a 40% improvement in performance when shooting animals and birds, a 60% improvement with Eye AF autofocus, and 20% reliability in auto exposure compared to the a7C.
