Son Tung M-TP sings about the pain of being emotionally deceived

Son Tung M-TP released the English song "Making My Way", singing about how to overcome the pain of being cheated on in love.

The audio version of the song Making My Way (Step Forward) reached 1.5 million views after its release at 0:00 on May 5, currently topping the YouTube Vietnam trending song chart. The project marks the singer's return one year after the release of the MV There's No One at All .

Son Tung M-TP said the new song has great meaning, helping him forget things that have not gone as planned, reminding himself to follow what his heart tells him. Born in 1994, after more than 10 years in the profession, he admits that he is "an old man". "However, the encouragement of the audience helps me to always change, contribute, and do things I dare not do", the singer said.

Making My Way is a confession of a guy who has experienced a broken relationship. He overcame the pain of being cheated on, continued on the chosen path and forgot his ex. The EDM electronic music is mixed with a vibrant melody. The singer combined the auto-tune effect to process the voice in the high ranges. Son Tung M-TP said that the song's color is not new, it is a musical style he has pursued for a long time, now he has the opportunity to perform it again. The crew plans to release the MV for the song in the near future.

The singer's real name is Nguyen Thanh Tung, born in 1994 in Thai Binh . He started singing with the song "Passing Rain" in August 2011. In 2012, he was valedictorian of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, and was mentored by musician Huy Tuan. He made his mark with a series of hits "Lac troi", "Chung ta khong thuc ve nhau", "Hay trao cho anh" . In 2015, the singer starred in the movie "Chang trai nam ay" (directed by Quang Huy), which was successful with a revenue of 60 billion VND.
