Accordingly, with the timely direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the People's Committee of Son La province, the Department of Industry and Trade of Son La province, the People's Committees of districts and cities have proactively developed plans to ensure the supply of goods, the supply of goods, especially essential goods, goods with high consumer demand during the rainy season such as cereals, clean water, meat, candles, gasoline, oil... to meet the needs of the people, the supply is stable, there is no shortage of goods.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Bac, to cope with the storm situation, distributors and supermarket systems, Winmart + convenience stores in the province have proactively planned to reserve large quantities of goods very early. At the same time, transportation units have also planned to distribute goods promptly to ensure the quantity of essential goods, stabilize prices, avoid shortages of goods and up to now, the amount of goods in the warehouse is still sufficient to serve the daily needs of the people.
" However, after storm No. 3, purchasing power in recent days has decreased compared to before the storm, because people have prepared and stocked up on enough goods to use during the storm," said Mr. Bac.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, at traditional markets, prices of basic goods are basically stable, without much change in prices. Some fresh food items (vegetables, tubers, fruits, etc.) have slightly increased in price (about 10-20%) in some districts such as Moc Chau, Mai Son, Van Ho, Son La city.

As for gas stations, there are currently 176/179 gas stations in operation in the province (3 gas stations have temporarily stopped operating due to landslides and project transfers). Therefore, the supply of gas stations in the province is always guaranteed to serve production, business and daily life of the people.
In addition, clean water and construction materials must not be subject to shortages, speculation, hoarding, or taking advantage of rain and storms to raise prices for profit.

“ Some large vegetable growing areas in the province such as Mai Son, Moc Chau, and Van Ho are experiencing flooding. Therefore, in the coming time, the selling price of fresh vegetables, tubers, and fruits will tend to increase compared to the present time, ” Mr. Bac affirmed.
