Recently, the Standing Committee of the Women's Union of Son Hoa district visited and presented 5 million VND to Pham Thu Thanh Ngoc in Trung Hoa quarter (Cung Son town), an 11th grade student at Phan Boi Chau High School.
Ngoc’s family is poor and extremely disadvantaged. Her mother passed away early, and she now lives with her father and younger sister. Previously, her father had no stable job and was making a living as a driver.
The Godmother Program has been implemented by the Women's Union of Son Hoa district for many years to support and empower orphaned students and students in difficult circumstances to continue going to school and excel in their studies and life.
