Son Duong launched a competition to build a district that meets new rural standards

Professional agencies of Son Duong district signed an emulation agreement to build the district to meet new rural standards by 2025.

Attending the launching ceremony were comrade Van Dinh Thao, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; leaders of departments, standing agencies, members of the Steering Committee of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction of the province; leaders of the District Party Committee, District People's Committee and a large number of cadres and people in Son Duong district.

After more than 12 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Development, Son Duong district has achieved many positive results, the appearance of the countryside is increasingly prosperous, and people's lives are improved. Up to now, the whole district has 13 communes meeting new rural standards, 1 commune meeting advanced new rural standards, an average of 15.3 criteria/commune.

With the goal of building a district that meets new rural standards by 2025, the district has mobilized all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, businessmen, workers, officers and soldiers of the armed forces and people of all walks of life in the area to uphold the spirit of solidarity, join hands and be determined to successfully achieve the set goals.

After the launching ceremony, many officials and people participated in activities such as building rural roads, inaugurating the project to light up rural roads, giving livestock breeds to poor households... in Mien Tay village, Khuan Phay, Khang Nhat commune. Also on the same day, communes and towns in the district simultaneously launched a campaign to compete to build the district to meet new rural standards.
