Exciting Binh Duong Province Men's and Women's Volleyball Championship

Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong - Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Council; Mr. Cao Van Chong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - Head of the tournament organizing committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities.

This year's tournament has 7 men's teams and 7 women's teams from districts and cities in the province. In each event, the teams are divided into groups, competing in a round-robin format to calculate points, selecting the first and second place teams in each group to compete in the semi-finals and finals.

The 2025 Binh Duong Province Men's and Women's Volleyball Championship will take place from April 18 to April 20, 2025, at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center's Multi-purpose Gymnasium (Vo Van Kiet Street, Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City).

The Binh Duong Province Men's and Women's Volleyball Championship is a traditional tournament organized annually by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism . The event is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Mr. Cao Van Chong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - Head of the organizing committee presented souvenir flags to the participating units.

Previously, events took place including the Chinese Chess Championship; the Provincial Club Table Tennis Championship and the Thu Dau Mot City Traditional Martial Arts Championship. The events attracted hundreds of athletes to compete enthusiastically.

The leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province said that on April 26 and 27, the Binh Duong New City Half Marathon will take place, attracting more than 4,000 athletes; On April 27, the Binh Duong Traditional Boat Race will be held on the Saigon River, Bach Dang Street, attracting many boat teams from inside and outside the province to participate.

The Binh Duong Young Entrepreneurs Sports Festival 2025 will officially take place from May 10 to May 17 at many locations in Thu Dau Mot City, competing in 7-a-side Football, Golf and Pickleball, the event is held at Sora Garden Football Field, Harmonie Park Golf Course and Royal Pickleball Field. The ITF J30 Binh Duong New City Tennis Tournament Becamex IDC Cup 2025, takes place from April 14 to 27 at Community Sports Center 1 Binh Duong New City.
