Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health informs organizations and individuals who need to carry out the above administrative procedures to study the relevant regulations and submit their applications at https://dichvucong.hochiminhcity.gov.vn/vi/ from April 8.
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health officially implements 11 administrative procedures according to the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
11 administrative procedures, including:
- Announcing medical examination and treatment facilities that meet the requirements is the basis for practical guidance.
- Renewal of practice licenses for professional titles such as doctor, physician, nurse, midwife, medical technician, clinical nutritionist, outpatient emergency worker, clinical psychologist.
- Renewal of practice license for professional titles such as traditional medicine practitioner, person with traditional medicine prescription or traditional treatment method.
- Register to practice.
- Revoke the practice license in the case specified in Point i, Clause 1, Article 35 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
- Announcement of eligibility for health examination, HIV/AIDS examination and treatment.
- Allowing the organization of humanitarian medical examination and treatment teams in batches, mobile medical examination and treatment in cases specified in Clause 1, Article 79 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment or individuals providing humanitarian medical examination and treatment.
- Allow foreigners to enter Vietnam to transfer technical expertise in medical examination and treatment or cooperate in medical training with practice in medical examination and treatment.
- Announcement of eligibility to perform remote medical examination and treatment.
- Proposal to pilot remote medical examination and treatment.
- Technical expertise ranking.
As for the remaining 12 administrative procedures (with fee regulations) according to Decision 159 dated January 18, 2024, Decision 743 dated March 29, 2024 of the Ministry of Health, up to now, they have not been implemented. The Department of Health has proposed that the Ministry of Health and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee soon issue instructions and will inform individuals and organizations as soon as there are instructions from competent authorities.
