The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health informs organizations and individuals who need to carry out the above-mentioned administrative procedures that they can review the relevant regulations and submit their applications at https://dichvucong.hochiminhcity.gov.vn/vi/ starting from April 8th.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health is implementing 11 administrative procedures in accordance with the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
11 administrative procedures, including:
- The announcement of healthcare facilities that meet the requirements serves as a guideline for practice.
- Renewal of professional licenses for the following positions: doctor, medical assistant, nurse, midwife, medical technician, clinical nutritionist, pre-hospital emergency responder, and clinical psychologist.
- Renewal of professional licenses for those holding the titles of traditional medicine practitioners, those with inherited medicinal recipes, or those with inherited healing methods.
- Register to practice.
- Revocation of professional license in cases stipulated in point i, clause 1, Article 35 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
- Announcement of eligibility to conduct health check-ups, HIV/AIDS examinations and treatment.
- Allowing the organization of humanitarian medical examination and treatment teams in batches, mobile medical examination and treatment services in cases stipulated in Clause 1, Article 79 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, or individuals providing humanitarian medical examination and treatment.
- Allowing foreigners to enter Vietnam to transfer specialized technical skills in medical examination and treatment or to cooperate in medical training that includes practical medical examination and treatment.
- Announcement of eligibility to provide telemedicine services.
- We propose a pilot program for telemedicine.
- Technical and professional ranking.
Regarding the remaining 12 administrative procedures (with prescribed fees) as stipulated in Decision 159 dated January 18, 2024, and Decision 743 dated March 29, 2024, of the Ministry of Health , they have not yet been implemented. The Department of Health has requested the Ministry of Health and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to provide guidance soon and will inform individuals and organizations as soon as guidance is available from the competent authorities.
