The Health Departments of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces met to agree on a merger plan.

BHG - On the morning of April 24, at the hall of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Department of Health, the Tuyen Quang Department of Health and the Ha Giang Department of Health held a conference to agree on the plan to merge agencies after merging provincial administrative units in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee on continuing to innovate, streamline the organization, and operate effectively and efficiently.

At the meeting, the two sides shared initial results in reviewing and assessing the current status of the local health sector's organizational structure; provided comments on the plan to develop a suitable merger plan to ensure professional work; discussed and agreed on the names of the units after the merger to ensure continuity, consistent with the functions, tasks and general organizational model of the health sector. The delegates also contributed comments on the organizational structure within each unit; oriented functions and tasks after the merger; proposed a plan to arrange the staff to ensure organizational stability and avoid major disruptions in professional activities.

With the spirit of solidarity, openness and responsibility, the conference reached a high level of consensus on important contents. In particular, it emphasized the principle of implementing the merger to ensure that the operations, management and implementation of professional tasks of the Departments of Health of the two provinces take place continuously and without interruption during the transition process. The arrangement of staff working in Ha Giang province also needs to be carefully considered, ensuring that it is suitable for the specific tasks, promptly removing difficulties in professional work and moving locations.
