Specifically: Consulting on the issuance of legal documents; implementing zoning planning; basic technical infrastructure implementation completed according to plan; project appraisal, basic design appraisal; appraisal of economic - technical reports, construction drawing designs and construction estimates were well implemented and promoted effectively. Through appraisal work, the Department has reduced construction investment costs that are not in accordance with regulations, contributing to preventing loss and waste in the field of construction investment in the province. Construction order inspection continues to operate effectively, detecting and handling many violations. In 2023, the added value of the construction industry reached VND 2,961 billion, an increase of 17.25% (compared to the target of 14-15%); The urban clean water supply rate reached 98.85%; the average floor area per capita reached the target of 23 m² of floor/person. There were 2 targets facing difficulties, which were the urbanization rate reaching 38% (target 40%) and the increased social housing floor area not reaching the set target.

In 2024, the Department of Construction has identified key tasks to strive to complete key targets such as: The growth rate of construction production value reaches 23% - 24%; the social housing floor area increases by 11,128 m²; the average floor area per capita reaches 24 m²/person; the urbanization rate strives to reach 41%, the rate of households using clean water in urban areas is 99.7%. Regarding the implementation of state management in assigned fields and tasks: Implement the Master Plan for Socio-Economic Development of the province, focusing on a number of planning projects assigned by the Provincial People's Committee. Strengthen the inspection and supervision of construction implementation according to urban planning; manage and control the real estate market; effectively implement the Housing Development Program for the period 2021-2025 and orientation to 2030 in the province. Strengthen the work of advising on mobilizing resources to invest in urban technical infrastructure. Coordinate, urge, inspect, and guide units to effectively implement the water supply zoning plan and the water supply development plan in 2024.
