In the first quarter of 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a variety of cultural and artistic activities on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025; Spring Newspaper exhibition, performance of a series of activities celebrating the Party and Spring to serve the people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet at the Provincial Cultural and Art Center, attracting more than 10,300 spectators.

At the same time, the 29th Southern Amateur Music Exchange of Long An Province in 2025 was held in Can Duoc district to raise awareness of the community in preserving and promoting the artistic value of Amateur Music.

In the first quarter of 2025, Long An sports won 17 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals, 8 Bronze Medals, of which swimmer Vo Thi My Tien won all 8 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, 1 Bronze Medal individually and contributed with her teammates to win 3 Bronze Medals in relay events, breaking 3 national records.

The work of propaganda, promotion, introduction of history, culture, craft villages, festivals, tangible and intangible cultural heritage values, tourism products and services of the province to domestic tourists and international friends has been promoted. The number of tourists to Long An in the first quarter was about 618,000, an increase of 42% over the same period.

The province's press and media activities ensure timeliness, accuracy, focus, and key points, serving the political tasks of the province and localities, creating consensus and trust in society.
