Truong Hai's special consumption tax in 2024 is extended by nearly VND 2,917 billion

According to the analysis, more than VND812.1 billion in value added tax (VAT), VND64.9 billion in corporate income tax (CIT) and nearly VND2,917 billion in special consumption tax (SCT) will be extended. The SCT amount is reserved for Truong Hai Group.

According to the Tax Department, the total amount of tax and land rent extended in 2023 is more than 4,617.7 billion VND. Specifically, VAT is more than 1,180 billion VND, corporate income tax is nearly 130 billion VND, personal income tax, land and water surface rent is more than 23.7 billion VND and special consumption tax of 6 enterprises under Truong Hai Group is nearly 3,284 billion VND. The enterprises have paid 100% of these extended taxes to the state budget within the allowed time limit.
