Truong Hai's special consumption tax in 2024 is extended by nearly 2,917 billion VND

According to the analysis, more than VND812.1 billion in value added tax (VAT), VND64.9 billion in corporate income tax (CIT) and nearly VND2,917 billion in special consumption tax (SCT) will be extended. The SCT amount is reserved for Truong Hai Group.

According to the Tax Department, the total amount of tax and land rent extended in 2023 is more than VND 4,617.7 billion. Specifically, VAT is more than VND 1,180 billion, corporate income tax is nearly VND 130 billion, personal income tax, land and water surface rent is more than VND 23.7 billion and special consumption tax of 6 enterprises under Truong Hai Group is nearly VND 3,284 billion. Enterprises have paid 100% of these extended taxes to the state budget within the allowed time limit.
