The amount of tax to be extended in 2024 is estimated at 3,794 billion VND.

Truong Hai has been granted an extension for excise tax payments in 2024 totaling nearly 2.917 billion VND.

According to the analysis, the extension will cover over 812.1 billion VND in value-added tax (VAT), 64.9 billion VND in corporate income tax (CIT), and nearly 2,917 billion VND in special consumption tax (SCT). The SCT amount is specifically for Truong Hai Group.

According to the Tax Department, the total amount of taxes and land rent extended in 2023 was over VND 4,617.7 billion. Specifically, VAT amounted to over VND 1,180 billion, corporate income tax nearly VND 130 billion, personal income tax, land and water surface rent over VND 23.7 billion, and special consumption tax of 6 enterprises belonging to Truong Hai Group nearly VND 3,284 billion. These enterprises paid 100% of the extended taxes to the state budget on time.
