In 2024, the Department of Information and Communications will continue to advise the Provincial People's Committee on directing and operating the field of information technology and digital transformation to create a legal corridor for the successful construction of e-Government, Digital Government of Tuyen Quang province and socio-economic development; organize the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. Propaganda work on digital transformation will continue to be promoted by agencies, units, districts and cities in the province through many forms.

In 2024, the work of orienting information for the press will be carried out regularly, continuously, with a focus, key points, promptly handling unexpected situations. The review, amendment, supplementation, and construction of new legal documents will be focused on and implemented effectively by the Department, better meeting the newly arising needs of state management of the press at the local level; the work of information management and provision of information (especially for unusual and sensitive cases) to the press will be carried out well, helping the press to provide accurate information, creating consensus in society, contributing significantly to overcoming difficulties and challenges for development with local levels and sectors...
In 2025, the Information and Communications sector sets out a number of goals, including: Continuing to advise on the development of the province's digital infrastructure, implementing digital transformation tasks; promptly orienting and directing press information to contribute to improving the quality of information content, especially the orientation of propaganda for major events, key tasks of the province and issues of public concern; continuing to create conditions and encourage postal and delivery businesses to focus on increasing market share for traditional delivery services and e-commerce logistics; boosting postal and delivery revenue in communes in the province, especially the e-commerce service market...
At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the causes, proposed solutions to overcome some limitations and solutions to effectively perform tasks in 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong praised the achievements of the Information and Communications sector in 2024. Right from the first months of 2025, the Information and Communications sector needs to focus on researching, advising, and proposing key and breakthrough tasks in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo; Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP dated January 9, 2025 of the Government promulgating the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. This is considered one of the key tasks for the province to make a breakthrough in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development.
Continue to promote the consolidation and merger in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 18-NQ/TW on the merger between the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Information and Communications to ensure the restructuring, merger, consolidation and streamlining of the internal organization to quickly complete the project and put it into operation, avoiding delays and congestion.
The arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus for cadres, civil servants and public employees must be associated with the streamlining and reduction of staff in accordance with the direction of the Central Government. Advise and direct the promotion of investment, upgrading and synchronization of information technology infrastructure, ensuring favorable conditions for the implementation of digital transformation projects; ensuring data and information security in digital systems, meeting the requirements of network security protection.

On this occasion, 1 collective and 4 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Information and Communications for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of the Ministry of Information and Communications in 2024; 1 collective and 1 individual were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee; 8 individuals achieved the title of grassroots emulation fighter and 15 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Director of the Department of Information and Communications.
