(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of July 19, the Emulation Cluster of districts in Hai Phong city in 2024, with Kien An District People's Committee as the Cluster Leader, held a conference to review the activities of the Emulation Cluster in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2024. Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho attended.
At the Conference, Vice Chairman of Kien An District People's Committee Phan Van Dien said: In the first 6 months of 2024, districts in the city will focus on implementing the city's 2024 Theme and the districts' 2024 Theme. Specify the emulation program into the work program of each district, enhance the responsibility of Party committees, authorities and organizations in directing and organizing emulation movements, ensuring practicality and effectiveness.
The total industrial production value of the cluster reached 2,534.05 billion VND, reaching 48.65% of the annual plan. The total budget revenue reached 7,902.079 billion VND, reaching 93.74% of the city's assigned estimate. Of which, Hai An and Kien An districts soon completed and exceeded the annual estimate. The work of planning management, construction order, environmental sanitation and urban beautification was implemented synchronously and effectively. In the last 6 months of 2024, the District Emulation Clusters will focus on implementing well Directive No. 34-CT/TW dated April 7, 2014 of the Politburo on "Continuing to innovate emulation and commendation work"; Law on Emulation and Commendation, Decrees, Circulars, State legal documents on emulation and commendation and guiding documents of the Central and City. Continue to implement the Plans of the City People's Committee in promoting the propaganda of emulation movements, patriotism, advanced models, new models, new factors, good people, good deeds. Proactively discover, foster and replicate advanced models in all fields, especially models on: economic development, social security, promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, style, fighting against corruption, etc.
The emulation clusters of the districts continue to launch the 2nd emulation period: From July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, to achieve achievements to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2; 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day... with specific contents: strive to successfully and comprehensively complete, surpass the assigned targets and tasks in 2024 and the 5-year Plan 2021 - 2025; complete the emulation covenant contents in 2024...
Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Emulation Cluster of the city's districts, and congratulated the People and officials of Hong Bang District, an excellent unit in the emulation movement in 2023, receiving the Emulation Flag of the Government. Along with implementing the key tasks set out by the Emulation Cluster of the districts in the last 6 months of 2024, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho requested the districts in the Emulation Cluster to review the 2024 targets, supplement the tasks to organize the implementation in the last 6 months of 2024; increase the disbursement of public investment capital; clear the site for projects; build parks and flower gardens; carry out planning work well; ensure traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting; arrange administrative units; pay attention to resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens, etc.
