The conference was connected to 17 points of the Provincial Center for Disease Control, the International Health Quarantine Center, provincial hospitals and district and city medical centers.

According to the report, in the first quarter of 2025, the Department of Health has proactively and actively performed its advisory role to the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee on the health sector deployed in the area; performed well the work of medical examination and treatment , disease prevention and health assurance before, during and after the Lunar New Year and the Lang Son Spring Festival in 2025. The Department of Health has developed programs, work plans and focused on directing the implementation of tasks from the beginning of the year . As a result, a number of professional targets have been achieved and exceeded the plan set for 2025 : 100% of commune, ward and town health stations maintained the National Criteria for Commune Health, meeting the target; 100% of health stations have doctors working, meeting the target; 34 hospital beds/10,000 people, meeting the target; The rate of non-cash payment of hospital fees reached 74%, higher than the target (65%), the rate of children under 1 year old receiving all types of vaccines reached 95.8%, reaching the target (over 95%)... Notably, in the 2025 measles vaccination campaign, Lang Son implemented vaccination with 97.3% of children of the right age vaccinated against measles, exceeding the target assigned by the Ministry of Health (over 95%).

At the conference, representatives of the units focused on discussing and clarifying the causes of existing difficulties and limitations and proposed a number of solutions for implementation in the coming time such as: promptly issuing guidelines for implementing the merger of commune-level health stations; decentralizing authority for commune-level health workers to exploit and use specialized population data software; providing professional training for village health workers; strengthening coordination to review target groups to implement the third measles vaccination campaign in 2025 ...

Speaking at the conference, the Director of the Department of Health requested units to continue to promote the spirit of initiative, review and overcome existing limitations, urge the implementation of key tasks and socio-economic planning targets in the health sector in 2025 ; proactively reorganize the apparatus according to the instructions of the central government and the province, in accordance with the actual situation; continue to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, ensure drugs, medical supplies, chemicals, biological products for medical examination and treatment and disease prevention. At the same time, pay attention to inventorying and managing public assets, invested equipment and assets; deploy electronic medical records according to the roadmap ; maintain the implementation of the "Remote medical examination and treatment" project and continue to do a good job of ensuring health for major events of the province.
