The Ministry of Health has just issued Directive No. 04/CT-BYT on continuing to promote the reduction and simplification of administrative procedures and improving the quality of public service delivery for citizens and businesses.
According to Inspection Report No. 2555/KL-TTCP dated December 6, 2024, issued by the Government Inspectorate , the implementation of administrative procedure reform in the health sector still has a few points that need to be addressed. To ensure effective implementation, the Ministry of Health requires its affiliated and subordinate units to seriously focus on carrying out key tasks.
In particular, it is necessary to strictly enforce regulations on administrative procedure control. Ensuring that the drafting and promulgation of legal documents related to administrative procedures comply with regulations, avoiding inconvenience for citizens and businesses.
All administrative procedures related to the healthcare sector will be clearly and transparently published on the Ministry of Health's Public Service Portal, making them easily accessible and accessible to citizens and businesses.
Applying digital technology to enhance the deployment of online public services, reduce unnecessary paperwork, and maximize convenience for citizens and businesses in carrying out administrative procedures.
Enhance the accountability of agencies and officials implementing administrative procedures. Units under the Ministry of Health must fully and promptly implement directives related to administrative procedure reform, and will be held responsible if delays occur, causing difficulties for the people.
The directive also emphasizes the crucial role of coordination between the Ministry of Health and relevant agencies, especially the Government Office, to ensure the administrative procedure reform process achieves maximum effectiveness.
The issuance of this directive is one of the important steps taken by the Ministry of Health to realize the goal of administrative reform, improve the quality of healthcare services, reduce inconvenience, and save costs for citizens and businesses in carrying out procedures related to the healthcare sector. This aims towards a professional, transparent, and efficient administrative system.
