The Ministry of Health has just issued Directive No. 04/CT-BYT on continuing to promote the reduction and simplification of administrative procedures (APs) and improving the quality of public service provision for people and businesses.
According to the inspection conclusion No. 2555/KL-TTCP dated December 6, 2024 of the Government Inspectorate, the implementation of administrative procedure reform in the health sector still has some points that need to be overcome. To implement well, the Ministry of Health requires units under and directly under the Ministry of Health to focus on seriously implementing key tasks.
In particular, it is necessary to strictly implement regulations on administrative procedure control. Ensure that the development and promulgation of legal documents (LDOs) related to administrative procedures comply with regulations, avoiding causing inconvenience to people and businesses.
The Ministry of Health requires continuing to promote the reduction and simplification of administrative procedures and improve the quality of public service provision for people and businesses.
All administrative procedures related to the health sector will be clearly and transparently announced on the Ministry of Health's Public Service Portal, helping people and businesses easily access and implement them.
Applying digital technology to enhance the implementation of online public services, reduce unnecessary paperwork, and create maximum convenience for people and businesses in the process of carrying out administrative procedures.
Enhance the responsibility of agencies and officials implementing administrative procedures. Units under the Ministry of Health shall fully and timely implement instructions related to administrative procedure reform, and shall be responsible for any delays that cause difficulties for the people.
The Directive also emphasizes the important role of coordination between the Ministry of Health and relevant agencies, especially the Government Office, to ensure the most effective administrative reform process.
