On the morning of October 11, the Center for Digital Transformation and Agricultural Statistics held a workshop to introduce agricultural models and technical advances at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Library.
In recent times, the Center for Digital Transformation and Agricultural Statistics (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) has received scientific and technological research results from institutes and schools. Along with the implementation of scientific and technological research tasks, many models and technical advances have been born to help farmers improve labor productivity and product quality.
Most of the models and technical advances are introduced online by the Center for Digital Transformation and Agricultural Statistics through the electronic library page, the electronic information page of the Department of Science and Technology... These are products that help websites have a surge in traffic when posted. The electronic library page has an average of 200,000 visits per day.

Providing direct and specific information about agricultural models and technical advances not only helps support scientists but also facilitates farmers to access and learn the content, thereby enhancing the ability to apply it in practice.
At the workshop, scientists, organizations, as well as units that build and apply models and technical advances had the opportunity to consult a number of new models and share experiences to find ways to transfer and strongly promote the application of models and technical advances in production, contributing to the development of science and technology and innovation in building ecological agriculture, modern countryside, and civilized farmers.
In addition, the transfer of science and technology, research programs, and technical transfer in agricultural production such as experimental production models, importing new varieties; research models on hybridization and selection of plant varieties for production; development of technical processes and cultivation methods suitable for each type of crop and each ecological region; methods of disease prevention... have been and are being increasingly implemented for widespread transfer to help promote sustainable agricultural production.
“Strong communication and introduction of models and technical advances play an important role in ensuring the right transfer, thereby improving production levels.
Currently, the Center is planning to promote the power of digital transformation in the library sector and plans to build a digital library project for the Agriculture and Rural Development sector. This project allows outstanding research works in the agricultural sector to be shared with all libraries of universities and research institutes... Instead of being on shelves and archives, we want to spread the knowledge and wisdom of scientists more widely to everyone", said Mr. Nguyen Quoc Toan, Director of the Center for Digital Transformation and Agricultural Statistics.
