On the evening of June 12th, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training released information regarding an error in the Physics exam for admission to specialized high schools, which took place that afternoon.
According to the exam committee's report, in the specialized Physics exam, question IV was incorrectly graded as 2.5 points instead of 3. Therefore, the scoring scale for each question in the Physics exam is as follows: Question I is 1.5 points; Question II is 2 points; Question III is 2.5 points; Question IV is 3 points; and Question V is 1 point. The total score for the entire exam is 10 points.
The Hanoi Examination Board has confirmed that the answer key for question IV in Physics still guarantees a score of 3 points. The total score for all questions in the exam is 10 points.
According to the planned schedule, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the answer key and scoring rubric for the subjects in the 10th grade entrance exam on June 14th.
Physics exam for admission to specialized 10th grade classes in Hanoi.
This afternoon, candidates taking the entrance exam for specialized Physics classes at specialized high schools and schools with specialized classes under the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will take the Physics exam, which lasts 150 minutes.
Many candidates are confused about the scoring system for each question. Specifically, the exam consists of 5 questions. According to the structure, question 1 is worth 1.5 points; question 2 is worth 2 points; question 3 is worth 2.5 points; question 4 is worth 2.5 points; and question 5 is worth 1 point.
Therefore, with this scoring system, even if a candidate answers all the questions correctly, they cannot achieve a perfect score of 10, as the maximum total score is only 9.5 points.
