According to the plan of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the grading of the 10th grade exam will officially be carried out from June 12. The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City informed that the grading council has agreed on the grading scale and answers according to the regulations. Each exam is graded in 2 independent rounds by two examiners from 2 different grading groups. The exam is graded on a 10-point scale, the odd points of the total score of the entire exam are rounded to 2 decimal places.

The marking is expected to be completed on the afternoon of June 19 and the Department of Education and Training will announce the exam results of all candidates taking the 10th grade exam on June 20.

After knowing their 10th grade exam scores, candidates who want to have their exam reviewed will submit their request for review at the secondary school where they studied 9th grade from June 21-24. The review results will be announced on June 30.

The 10th grade benchmark scores for the 2023-2024 school year will be announced at different time points depending on different school and class models.

The Department of Education and Training is expected to announce the benchmark scores for entering grade 10 in specialized and integrated schools on June 24.

Candidates admitted to specialized high schools, high schools that organize integrated English programs and direct admission must submit their admission applications to the schools they have been admitted to from June 25 to before 4:00 p.m. on June 29.

After the above time, if candidates do not submit their application for admission, the school will remove their names from the admission list. As for candidates who are admitted after the review results, they will submit their application for admission to the school, specialized classes, and integrated classes on July 5.

On July 10, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the admission benchmark scores and the list of candidates admitted to regular grade 10 of public schools.

Successful candidates must submit their admission application to the high school they were admitted to from July 11 to August 1. After 4 p.m. on August 1, if candidates do not submit their admission application, the school will remove their name from the list of successful candidates. The Department of Education and Training notes that successful candidates will study at the school of their choice and will not accept any requests to change their choice.
