( Bqp.vn ) - On December 8, in Hanoi , the Organizing Committee of the second exchange program "Vietnam Coast Guard and friends" in 2024 held a preliminary review of the program. Major General Vu Trung Kien, Deputy Commander of the Coast Guard Law, attended and directed the preliminary review.

During the rehearsal, singers and artists practiced their performances as part of the exchange program; delegates, members of the Organizing Committee, and representatives from functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense contributed suggestions on stage design, props, etc., to ensure the program was perfected and met the required duration and quality standards.

Speaking at the rehearsal, Major General Vu Trung Kien highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and effort of the artists; and expressed his hope that the artists would overcome difficulties and continue practicing to further improve the quality of the program. Major General Vu Trung Kien also requested the production team and coordinating agencies to carefully review and select commentary and illustrative images in the introductory video and artistic performances to ensure the distinctive and representative characteristics of law enforcement forces from various countries and to further highlight the role of the Vietnam Coast Guard.
The "Vietnam Coast Guard and Friends" exchange program is an initiative of the Vietnam Coast Guard to concretize the policies and viewpoints of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on international cooperation and defense diplomacy. This is not only an important and meaningful diplomatic activity but also an opportunity to enhance mutual understanding and trust between the Vietnam Coast Guard and maritime law enforcement forces of countries in the region.
The second "Vietnam Coast Guard and Friends" exchange program in 2024 is expected to take place from December 17 to 21 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
