Fearing husband's violence, woman posts clip of being beaten 9 months ago online

On April 24, Ward 4 Police, Tan An City, Long An Province summoned NPL (born in 1990) and a woman named T. (born in 1995) to clarify the content of the abuse clip posted on social media that has caused a stir in public opinion for many days now.

Initial investigation determined that the above clip was filmed 9 months ago, when Ms. T. had just given birth to a baby girl. In the clip, Ms. T. was holding her newborn baby in her sister's nail and cosmetics salon when she got into an argument with Mr. L. Mr. L. repeatedly physically abused Ms. T., and Ms. T. could only hold her baby and endure the beating.

The image of Ms. T. being abused by her husband happened 9 months ago.

At the police station, Ms. T. said that she had been engaged to Mr. T. but had not yet married, and that the two had a daughter over 1 year old. During their time living together, the two had many conflicts, and Mr. L. often abused Ms. T. The above clip was recorded by a nail salon camera in July 2024, when Ms. T. had just given birth to a baby girl. After this incident, the two temporarily stopped living together, and a few months later, they got back together.

By March 2025, the two officially broke up. However, on April 22, Mr. L. came to find trouble and tried to abuse Ms. T., so Ms. T. was afraid and posted the above clip on social media.

Ward 4 police have drawn up a record and verified to clarify and handle Mr. L's act of violence.
