Hanoi University of Science and Technology said that students using buses will help reduce urban traffic congestion and protect the environment. For students, walking to the bus stop is an activity that helps them practice light daily exercise, save costs effectively, and practice the habit of being punctual and on schedule...

Hanoi University of Science and Technology has about 30,000 undergraduate students. Currently, there are about 17 bus routes with stops near the school.

When students submit proof of monthly bus pass, they will receive up to 11/100 training points.

On the afternoon of September 19, when Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced that students taking the bus would both protect the environment and earn extra training points, many students and parents were excited to support it.

Some students think that if students walk or use bicycles to go to school, they should also get extra training points, because these are also practical actions to protect the environment.

Currently, students (excluding those in the work-study program), the elderly, and industrial park workers are eligible to buy priority monthly tickets for VND55,000/month (1 route), VND100,000/month (multi-route tickets).

Three criteria for adding training points

Students participating in the activity will be granted evidence by Hanoi University of Science and Technology as a basis for evaluating training results for one of the three criteria below:

- Participate in propagating the Party's policies, the State's laws and policies, regulations of the place of residence, regulations and rules of the school recognized by the locality and the school.

- Participate in maintaining security and order, protecting the landscape and environment, civilized lifestyle in public places, promoting the beautiful image of the school recognized by the locality and the school.

- Participate in popular activities, learn about national cultural identity, local culture, school culture...
