Compared to day shifts, night shifts offer higher pay, and students can utilize their daytime hours for other work. For example, some students, who attend classes during the day, can choose to work night shifts to earn extra income.

Furthermore, working night shifts helps build endurance. Not only that, night shift jobs are relatively light, making them suitable for those without many qualifications or professional skills.

Along with higher pay and less work than day shifts, students who work night shifts also have to make many sacrifices. Working night shifts means staying awake for 7-8 hours a day, roughly the same number of hours as a regular office worker. Not to mention that the students have to continue with their studies the next day.

In addition, working night shifts presents numerous safety and security issues. This is one of the most worrying concerns for night shift workers.

In general, working part-time at night can offer many new experiences. However, on the other hand, students who stay up all night to work not only suffer from sleep deprivation, affecting their academic performance, but also face many other risks. Therefore, we must carefully consider everything to ensure that part-time work does not significantly impact our health and studies.

Restaurant and hotel staff jobs often involve shift work, but still require working at night. However, to ensure employees are in good health, night shifts are rotated and appropriate benefits are provided.
