Scientific activity on the role of biomarkers in the management of thyroid disease

Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoang, Deputy Director of Phu Yen General Hospital, said: Thyroid diseases, especially autoimmune diseases such as Hashimoto's or Basedow's disease, are common in the community and have a significant impact on the health of patients. In that context, the application of biomarkers in diagnosis, monitoring and treatment plays an extremely important role, helping clinicians make accurate decisions, personalize treatment and improve disease management.

The scientific meeting is a valuable opportunity for doctors to update new knowledge, share practical experiences and discuss the role of biological markers - from classic indicators such as TSH, FT3, FT4, to immune markers such as Anti-TPO, Anti-Tg, TRAb - in monitoring disease progression, evaluating treatment effectiveness, as well as patient prognosis.
