Special activity "Children's health and family happiness"

To celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024), on March 3, at Aleron Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. (Hoang Long Industrial Park, Thanh Hoa City), the Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks (KKTNS & CKCN) Trade Union of Thanh Hoa province organized a thematic activity "Children's health and family happiness".

Delegates and female union members, workers and employees of Aleron Vietnam Shoe Company Limited attended the thematic activity.

Comrade Trinh Thi Hoa, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation, spoke at the thematic meeting.

At the meeting, more than 200 female union members, workers and employees of Aleron Vietnam Shoes Company Limited listened to Dr. Trinh Thi Thom, in charge of the Nutrition Department, Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital, impart knowledge about nutrition for pregnant and lactating women; instructions on breastfeeding and appropriate supplementary feeding for children.

This is very useful knowledge not only for pregnant female workers and those raising young children, but also for every union official to understand scientifically in order to guide union members and workers when they need advice.

Through the workshop, mothers with young children and pregnant mothers improved their knowledge about breastfeeding and child nutrition, choosing local foods, safe pregnancy care, and measures to prevent food poisoning.
