Lively and attractively promote Ha Tinh history through archival documents

Through archives, the history of formation and development of Ha Tinh province has been disseminated vividly and meaningfully, contributing to educating traditions for more than 2,100 cadres, civil servants and students in the whole province.

In early August 2023, nearly 200 delegates who are officials working in statistics and archival documents in Can Loc area were able to watch the online 3D exhibition "Ha Tinh through history through archival documents"; the history of formation and development of Can Loc District People's Committee and archival documents of Can Loc District People's Committee.

The online 3D exhibition "Ha Tinh through history through archives" is a combination of more than 130 documents, materials and images from national archives and from the Provincial Historical Archives Center and Ha Tinh Provincial Museum.

By visiting the internet platform at "trienlam.hatinh.gov.vn", Ha Tinh land is recreated through 4 parts: The formation of Ha Tinh land: 1831 - 1885; Ha Tinh in the national liberation movement: 1885 - 1945; Ha Tinh in the two resistance wars against France and America: 1945 - 1975; Ha Tinh proudly develops (1976 to present). In addition, at the propaganda session, delegates also learned an overview of the history of formation and development of Ha Tinh province through the documentary "190 years of Ha Tinh - a historical journey".

Mr. Nguyen Doan Binh - an officer of the statistical office of Tung Loc commune (Can Loc) shared: "The documents, materials, and 3D exhibition images clearly recreated the formation and development process of Ha Tinh land, prominent historical events and figures; changes in administrative boundaries and names of Ha Tinh province. The way of propaganda and introduction through 3D exhibitions makes viewers much more excited and attractive. Through this, we also grasp and remember many important historical milestones of the province and our district; at the same time, know how to exploit information and documents through archival documents".

Not only disseminating historical information to officials and civil servants, this content is also deployed by the Provincial Historical Archives Center to many high schools in the area.

Student Duong Thi Phuong Trang, class 10A3 - Nguyen Thi Bich Chau High School (Ky Anh district) said: "Following the exhibition, we not only provided useful knowledge about the development history of Ha Tinh province, Ky Anh district, the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations but also added pride to the land and people of our homeland. From there, we realized our role, need to strive and contribute more to contribute to building our homeland, continuing the glorious tradition of our ancestors. This is truly an interesting and meaningful history lesson."

From June 2023 to present, the Provincial Historical Archives Center has carried out propaganda work on the history of formation and development of Ha Tinh province through archival documents in 13 districts, cities, towns and 7 high schools for more than 2,100 civil servants, public employees and students in Ha Tinh province.

Through the exhibition, the public has a better understanding of the glorious 190-year history of the establishment, construction and development of Ha Tinh. In addition, in each locality where the exhibition took place, delegates and students also learned about the history of the formation and development of their homeland; introduced rare types of archival documents of Ha Tinh recognized by UNESCO as world cultural heritage, cultural heritage of the Asia-Pacific region.

In particular, the propaganda sessions also contribute to widely disseminating the province's historical archives, effectively promoting the value of documents, creating favorable conditions for accessing, exploiting and using documents of agencies, organizations and individuals.

In the coming time, we will continue to implement the contents of the program to announce archival documents of Ha Tinh province according to Decision No. 2541/QD-UBND dated December 14, 2022 such as: writing introductory articles, announcing archival documents associated with events and anniversaries on the center's electronic information portal; making a documentary film about Ha Tinh under the feudal period; coordinating with units to display and introduce on the occasion of the founding anniversary".
