Supermodel Tuyet Lan has just become the runway model for the collection named SS24 "Archetype" by designer Cuong Dam. The runner-up of Vietnam's Next Top Model shows off her cold beauty and impressive poses in powerful designs with cut-outs and asymmetrical shapes.
Tuyet Lan is one of the most promising models in the Vietnamese fashion industry. After winning the runner-up position in Vietnam's Next Top Model, she has continuously achieved success on the catwalk. In 2011, the beauty moved to Singapore to start a career and won the championship of Asian Model Search 2011.
In 2013, Tuyet Lan signed a contract with the famous American modeling agency Wilhelmina Models. The female model performed many times at New York Fashion Week, including shows by designers Elie Tahari, Park Choon Moo, Tia Cibani, Wes Gordon, Juan Carlos Obando... She is one of the few Vietnamese models who have become famous in the international market.
Tuyet Lan just got married to a cosmetic surgeon. Currently, besides fashion shows, she also opened a model management and training company.
The designs presented by model Tuyet Lan are a harmony between the strength of cut-outs and asymmetrical shapes; the elegance, restraint and versatility of ready-to-wear designs. Along with the novelty of the “earth tone” color scheme and materials with a strong summery feel.
“Archetype” is the opening collection celebrating 10 years of honoring the original values of contemporary women from the CHATS by C.DAM brand. On that fashion journey, each shape, each design, each detail bears the mark of different entities but all in all, the original feminine intelligence and a different minimalist philosophy.
Before performing for this collection, Tuyet Lan took on the role of Catwalk Director for 2 fashion shows of Cuong Dam: Inflowing (2022), Rendezvous (2023) and modeled in many of the designer's lookbook photo collections.
Tuyet Lan and other international models showcased outfits by designer Cuong Dam. The Vietnamese model's beauty and expression stood out among the models.
