The Face Vietnam 2023 program has just introduced the coaches and contestants. Taking on the role of coaches this season are supermodel Anh Thu, supermodel Vu Thu Phuong and the duo Miss Ky Duyen - Minh Trieu. Nam Trung is still in charge of the program's Host position.
Returning to showbiz after a period of absence, supermodel Anh Thu admitted that her time as a coach at The Face Vietnam 2023 was "horrifying".
"The time participating in The Face Vietnam 2023 was the most terrifying time of my career. If I look back at my entire artistic career, it all doesn't compare to a corner of this program. This is also the first time I participated in a reality TV show, so there was a lot of pressure. Many times I was bullied to the point of not being able to eat or drink because I couldn't swallow," the beauty said.
The supermodel revealed that she lost 4kg because she couldn’t sleep for half a month. Anh Thu also humorously said that she thought about giving up art many times to return to her job as an eyebrow sculptor.

“Many times I feel that the role of a coach is too much for me. A coach not only trains me in posing skills, catwalking… but also has to do many other roles. Sometimes I feel pressured but in the end everything is done. This is a lifelong journey that I will never forget," the supermodel added.

Ky Duyen - Minh Trieu are the coaching duo at The Face Vietnam 2023. Ky Duyen admitted that during the filming process, she and Minh Trieu could not avoid disagreements.
Continuing, supermodel Minh Trieu said that when they accepted the invitation to sit together at the show, the two sat down to talk to agree on how to work instead of confronting the other coaches. "We are so close, we understand each other so well, but when it comes to work, everyone has their own ego and opinion. If we don't agree on a goal to guide us, it will lead to conflict," Minh Trieu revealed.

As for Vu Thu Phuong, she said that although she is a strong-willed and thorny person, the message she wants to bring to The Face Vietnam 2023 is "calm, relaxed, and serene" . "Although I tried very hard to calm my mind, there were times when my mood fluctuated. However, I believe this year's season will have some twists and turns because I myself have shed many tears," the supermodel admitted.
Vu Thu Phuong admitted that she had to control her emotions a lot on the show.
Ms. Trang Le - CEO of MultiMedia JSC - General Director and Producer of the program also admitted that The Face Vietnam 2023 is the season that has received the most investment and dedication. "As usual, Vietnam Fashion Week will take place at the end of May, but because of The Face, it was postponed. We did not want to disappoint our beloved audience and so today, there is nothing happier than when the plan has come true. And I am very confident to stand here and tell the audience. We are ready to bring an attractive and engaging season," she said,
When asked if the show is afraid of being compared to The New Mentor (a show with the participation of coaches including Huong Giang, Thanh Hang and Ho Ngoc Ha), Ms. Trang Le frankly said that in Vietnam, if there is a confrontation, Vietnam's Next Top Model and The Face Vietnam will be formidable opponents. However, both of these shows are produced by the same producer. Therefore, for her, in Vietnam, The Face Vietnam has no rival.

Regarding the prize, the champion will receive a cash prize of VND 200 million and a cover photo shoot for Harper's Bazzaar Vietnam fashion magazine. The winner will also be the promotional face for Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall Winter 2023 and especially a unique experience - to the world's 4 most prestigious fashion weeks in 4 fashion capitals including Milan, Paris, London and New York.
