(Dan Tri) - The investor of the Cocobay Da Nang project announced that it would re-implement the project in early May, but until now the entire project is still in a state of inactivity and deserted.
According to a report from Thanh Do Investment Development and Construction Joint Stock Company, the investor of The Empire Resort and Luxury Housing Project (Cocobay Da Nang), the project is expected to be re-implemented in early May. The implementation plan for the items lasts from April this year to January 2029.
However, according to Dan Tri reporter, the project area is still deserted, the entrance gate is fenced with corrugated iron.
The investor's report stated that the infrastructure and landscape of the entire area were expected to be implemented from April, but in reality, the inside was overgrown with grass and construction materials were strewn about.
A representative of the Da Nang Department of Construction said that the Cocobay Da Nang project was licensed and implemented in 2016, but construction stopped in early 2022.
During the implementation process, the project encountered many petitions and complaints related to real estate business activities. Up to now, the investor has basically resolved the disputes with customers.
According to the Da Nang Department of Construction, from July until now, there have been no new complaints related to the project.
The investor also reported the construction plan for each project item, with the unfinished items expected to be built in 2024 and the remaining items in 2025. However, the Da Nang Department of Construction found that the project has not yet resumed construction.
The investor has sent a report to the Department of Planning and Investment of Da Nang to review the procedures for adjusting the project investment policy, in accordance with the conversion of functions. The investor wishes to soon construct the project according to the city's direction, in order to remove difficulties related to projects and land.
Cocobay Da Nang used to be a famous super project in the coastal area of Truong Sa Street, but is still under construction. The investor once caused controversy when he unilaterally terminated the contract with the customer, and was asked to resolve the civil dispute to ensure the harmonious interests of all parties.
