The shows Anh trai vu ngan cong gia and Anh trai say hi were mentioned in the list of 15 nominations to vote for 10 cultural, sports and tourism events in 2024.

On the afternoon of December 6, a press conference and live voting for 10 typical cultural, sports and tourism events in 2024 took place in Hanoi.

This is an event assigned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the Culture Newspaper to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu, Editor-in-Chief of Culture Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that in 2024, in the context of many fluctuations in the country and the world, the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector has made many efforts and attempts, achieved positive results, and contributed to the socio-economic development of the country.

Before officially organizing the voting, the Organizing Committee sent an official dispatch to units under the Ministry; Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture and Sports, Departments of Tourism nationwide; Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association; Vietnam Tourism Association; Vietnam Olympic Committee to propose nominations for typical cultural, sports, tourism and family events in 2024.

The organizing committee received 78 nominations from 36 units and teams to help vote for 30 events.

From this result, the Organizing Committee has compiled and selected 15 events, reported to the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a vote for 10 typical Cultural, Sports and Tourism events in 2024 with the participation of representatives of reporters from central and local news agencies and newspapers.

Among the 15 events above, the Organizing Committee evaluated the two reality TV shows about music, Anh trai say hi, Anh trai dua ngan cong gai, with record numbers, creating a bright spot for the performing arts industry - a key cultural industry in Vietnam.

The fever of hunting for tickets for the concerts Anh trai vu ngan chong gai and Anh trai say hi has caused social networks to explode. Tickets were sold out at all concerts of the two shows. The ticket sales system for the concert of Anh trai vu ngan chong gai even crashed just a few minutes after it went on sale.

In addition, other outstanding events such as the 1st International Jazz Program - Nha Trang 2024, the films "Lat mat 7" by Ly Hai and "Mai" by Tran Thanh, the film "Dao, pho, piano" by director Phi Tien Son, the Hanoi Creative Design Festival... have created positive effects, contributing to promoting the development of the cultural industry.

Some other events on the nomination list include: The National Assembly passed the Law on Cultural Heritage (amended), a series of cultural, sports and tourism events celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Vietnam Military History Museum officially opened and put into operation the Ban Gioc Waterfall Landscape Area (Vietnam) - Duc Thien (China), the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won the world medal for the first time, the Vietnamese women's futsal team won the Southeast Asian championship.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu, Editor-in-Chief of Culture Newspaper, said that the voting activity is organized in 2 forms: Direct voting on December 6, 2024 with the participation of reporters from central and local press agencies and online voting.

Online voting time from 15:35 on December 6, 2024 to 17:00 on December 9, 2024.

The list of 10 typical Cultural, Sports and Tourism events in 2024 will be announced by the Organizing Committee after synthesizing the voting results from the two above forms.

Nominate 15 Cultural, Sports and Tourism events in 2024 including:

1. The National Assembly approved the investment policy for the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the 2025-2035 period.

2. The National Assembly passed the Law on Cultural Heritage (amended), completing the legal framework for the cultural heritage sector.

3. The Government issued two major plans on culture, sports and tourism, unleashing resources and creating a foundation for breakthroughs and development of the industry.

4. Series of cultural, sports and tourism events celebrating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

5. Vietnam has two more heritages listed by UNESCO in the Asia-Pacific Regional Documentary Heritage List and the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

6. Cultural industry makes breakthroughs with programs of great stature, appeal and social impact.

7. The new Vietnam Military History Museum officially opened, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists; affirming the stature and scale of a modern cultural institution, a highlight in the series of activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

8. The Prime Minister attended the Forum on promoting Vietnamese tourism and cultural cooperation abroad.

9. First time promoting Vietnamese tourism and cinema in the United States.

10. Vietnam tourism recovered strongly after the pandemic, welcoming about 17 million international tourists and 120 million domestic tourists.

11. Tra Que Vegetable Village, Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province was recognized as the Best Tourist Village in 2024 by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism).

12. Official operation of Ban Gioc Waterfall Scenic Area (Vietnam) - Detian (China).

13. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team won the world championship for the first time and the Asian championship for the second time.

14. Athlete Le Van Cong won the bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
