SeABank brings spring warmth to difficult circumstances

With the theme "Connecting Love", SeABank 's Spring of Love 2024 program is one of the first meaningful activities in a series of activities towards the bank's 30th anniversary.

30-year journey of spreading the spirit of mutual love

During 30 years of establishment and development, SeABank has promoted community service through practical actions, always focusing on social security activities as a commitment to sustainable development of the bank with a total amount of billions of VND each year. As usual, in the first days of the new year, SeABank organizes the annual charity activity Spring of Love with the desire to bring the warmth of spring to difficult circumstances, spreading the spirit of mutual love. To continue the tradition of For the Community that the Bank has carried out over the years, Spring of Love 2024 with the theme "Connecting Love" has brought the warmth of spring to 5 hospitals, 8 schools and 15 protection centers in many provinces and cities across the country. This is also one of the first meaningful activities in a series of activities towards the 30th anniversary of the Bank's establishment (1994 - 2024).

Gifts of love

During more than a month of implementing the program, nearly 1 ton of necessities and 1,600 gifts worth more than 666 million VND were given by SeABank staff at branches/transaction offices nationwide to orphans, lonely elderly people, disabled people, people with serious illnesses, etc.

Although the gifts are small, they show the special affection and care of SeABank employees, thereby contributing to encouraging and sharing to help the disadvantaged have more conditions to celebrate the traditional New Year in a more joyful and cozy atmosphere.

Some typical activities implemented by SeABank in the program include donating 300 kg of necessities to dozens of poor households in Dai Dinh, Tam Dao, Vinh Phuc; visiting 120 lonely elderly people at Lam Quang Pagoda (Ho Chi Minh City); giving gifts to Thien Binh Orphanage Social Protection Facility (Dong Nai) - which is taking care of nearly 200 children and 12 elderly people; giving more than 150 gifts to students with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties in studying in Binh Duong with scholarships to encourage learning...

In addition, SeABank also presented dozens of gifts to patients with difficult family circumstances who are being treated at the Department of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and the Department of Oncology of Thai Nguyen Central Hospital.

Mr. Ha Tien Quang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of Thai Nguyen Central Hospital shared: "I especially appreciate the affection that SeABank has for the patients being treated here. The Bank's concern will help patients have more motivation to fight the disease".
