SEA Games 32, May 12: Vietnam leaves Thailand behind with 11 gold medals

As of May 12, the Vietnamese sports delegation is leading the medal tally of the 32nd SEA Games and is 11 gold medals ahead of the Thai delegation.

At the end of the competition day on May 12, the Vietnamese sports delegation surpassed the second-placed Thai delegation by 11 gold medals. On May 12, the Thai sports delegation won 6 more gold medals to surpass the Cambodian delegation.

Meanwhile, on May 12, the Cambodian sports delegation "lost money" when they only won 1 more gold medal and dropped to 3rd place. Following in the next positions were the delegations of Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar and Laos.

Today, Vietnamese athletes won a total of 13 gold medals. The two sports that contributed the most were wushu and diving with 9 gold medals.
