In the spirit of long-term and effective cooperation, VTV and CMG agreed to deploy a series of outstanding communication activities in 2025 - 2026, notably the joint production of a series of programs on technology development, artificial intelligence, urban infrastructure and programs that comprehensively reflect the political, cultural and social milestones of the two countries. Important events such as visits by high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and two countries, important conferences, strategic cooperation and people-to-people exchange activities will be given priority for timely and in-depth reflection. Through this, audiences of the two countries will have a realistic and vivid perspective on the process of friendly cooperation and sustainable development between Vietnam and China. VTV and CMG agreed to strongly promote the exchange of television content, aiming to introduce works that reflect the depth of culture, national identity and outstanding development achievements of each country. Documentaries, television series, and special reports on history, places, people and innovation will be prioritized in the exchange plan. These activities help people of the two countries understand each other better, thereby arousing empathy, respect and strengthening solidarity between the two long-standing cultures in the Asian region.

A highlight of the series of collaborative activities is the art exchange program between Vietnamese and Chinese artists. The event will bring together many prestigious names, representing the traditional and contemporary art fields of each country.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, General Director of Vietnam Television, commented: "Through specific cooperation projects launched today, from cooperation in producing documentaries, art exchange programs, thematic seminars, to cooperation in multi-platform digital content, the two national television stations not only promote cultural exchanges, creating opportunities for the people of Vietnam and China to access and explore each other's cultural values, traditions and modern achievements. This not only enriches people's knowledge but also contributes to building a solid foundation for lasting friendship between the two countries."

Sharing the same view, Mr. Than Hai Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, General Director and Editor-in-Chief of China Central Radio and Television, said that "the multifaceted cooperation between the two television stations will turn the small flow of exchange and cooperation between the media agencies of the two countries into a large river of China-Vietnam friendly exchange".
