A coffee and beverage seller along National Highway 1 (the old bus station near the Ha Lam and Thang Binh intersections) reported that buses from Tam Ky to this place did not stop, even though there were passengers waiting to get on the bus.
Many passengers wanted to get off the bus in front of Agribank Thang Binh to go home, but the driver refused because there was no stop. According to regulations, the stop in this area is in front of Thang Hoa General Hospital, quite far from Ha Lam intersection.
Many people taking the bus on the Tam Ky - Da Nang route and vice versa have reported that the arrangement of some stops is unreasonable, or that there are no pick-up and drop-off stops, making it quite inconvenient to move before getting on or after getting off the bus.

According to the investigation, it is legal for the bus company not to stop at a location without a bus stop or bus stop. If the driver does not comply, he will be fined or even have his driver's license revoked.
Another reason is that the authorities must arrange stations and pick-up and drop-off points to ensure traffic safety and not affect the traffic of other vehicles. However, with the feedback from passengers, the authorities and related units need to inspect and survey to supplement or adjust accordingly.
Quang Nam Department of Transport said that after the two departments of Quang Nam and Da Nang City agreed on the content and method, the unit in charge of implementation and selected the unit to pilot the connection of two non-subsidized two-way bus routes Da Nang - Tam Ky and Da Nang - Hoi An.
On April 26, bus routes No. 02, LK02 (Hoi An - Da Nang), No. 21, LK21 (Tam Ky - Da Nang) were officially announced to operate. As for the stations and stops for picking up and dropping off passengers, the current route operator (Phuong Trang FUTA BUSLINES Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company) will re-install them at the locations where the Tam Ky - Da Nang bus route used to operate. An official from the Quang Nam Department of Transport informed that after a pilot period, the functional departments of the two localities will sit down to consider solutions.

Urgent adjustment and supplementation
In response to the people's legitimate complaints, the Director of the Quang Nam Department of Transport has urgently directed to invite relevant parties to conduct a survey and inspection to make appropriate adjustments or supplements.
Chief of Office of Quang Nam Department of Transport - Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan shared that in order to continue to improve and adjust the pick-up and drop-off locations of the Tam Ky - Da Nang bus route in Quang Nam according to people's feedback, the industry has invited representatives of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee Office, Road Management Area III, Construction Joint Stock Company 545 (BOT unit of National Highway 1, Dien Ban - Phu Ninh section), districts, towns and cities where the bus route passes through, the Traffic Light and Public Transport Control Center of Da Nang City, Phuong Trang FUTA BUSLINES Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company (the winning bidder to operate the bus route) to conduct a survey on June 18.

Through a field survey, a member of the inspection team shared that the bus stop used to exist along National Highway 1, in front of the Ha Lam bus station (old). However, the stop post had been removed a long time ago, and the new unit operating the route did not know about it so it had not been installed yet. The members agreed to restore the stop at this location (left side of the route) as well as the opposite side (right side of the route).
At the southern point of the old Ba Ren bridge (Que Son), the survey team agreed to restore two stops on the left and right of the old National Highway 1. Located in Dien Ban area, the old Cau Lau bridge is severely damaged, prohibiting cars from crossing the bridge, so the bus route from Da Nang direction when reaching the old National Highway 1 intersection - the road connecting Vinh Dien bypass (Dien Phuong ward) will turn left, follow the bypass through the new Cau Lau bridge and then enter Nam Phuoc (Duy Xuyen).
For the convenience of the people, two stops will be added near this intersection. Still in Dien Ban area, the delegation proposed that the competent authority add two stops at Cay Sop intersection (Dien Minh ward).
Mr. Le Van Tri - Head of the Department of Transport, Vehicle and Driver Management (Department of Transport) shared that after the survey results and agreement between the relevant parties, the Department of Transport will send a document to Road Management Area III (Vietnam Road Administration).
If this unit agrees in writing, the industry will hand over to the route operator to work specifically with the responsible person to promptly add and transfer stops appropriately, meeting the needs of the people and ensuring traffic safety.
In addition to restoring and adding the 8 stops mentioned above, the inspection team also agreed to propose moving 5 existing stops to new, more suitable locations. Specifically, Binh Trung commune (Thang Binh) has 3 stops, of which 1 is in the wrong place; Huong An town (Que Son) has 2 stops.
