Support plan for mini apartment fire victims will be announced before November 6

According to Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong, as of the end of September 2023, the total amount of money that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at 3 levels in Hanoi received from organizations, groups and individuals to support the victims of the fire was 112 billion VND. Of which, about 6 billion VND was spent on emergency support activities, helping the victims stabilize their food, accommodation, necessities and living equipment.

On September 30, 2023, a support plan from this VND 112 billion budget was developed and submitted to the city, however, the final plan has not been approved. The requirement is that the development of the plan must comply with the provisions of Decree No. 93/2021/ND-CP dated October 27, 2021 on mobilizing, receiving, distributing and using voluntary contributions to support overcoming difficulties caused by natural disasters, epidemics, and incidents; Support patients with serious illnesses, ensuring effectiveness, specificity, clear people, clear work, clear addresses, according to the principle of supporting the right affected people.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Nguyen Lan Huong said that the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of the City officially stopped receiving support on October 16. The total amount of support received up to this point is more than 130 billion VND.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City plans to announce a plan to support victims of the mini apartment fire in Thanh Xuan District before November 6. As soon as the plan to distribute support resources is approved, the support will be made public and paid immediately, ensuring compliance with the principles stipulated in Articles 4 and 5 of Decree No. 93/2021/ND-CP.
