The Red Flamboyant Festival has become a unique highlight event of Hai Phong, contributing to building the tourism brand of the Port City. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as the standing agency of the Organizing Committee of the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation and the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025, has proactively advised the city to develop and issue directive documents and plans to implement the festival organization; has issued documents requesting departments, branches, sectors, organizations, units and localities to register and receive tasks to carry out activities and events.

Up to this point, the festival organization work has been carried out very urgently, while ensuring quality, worthy of the event.

High-tech applications bring impressive performances

In conjunction with the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day, the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025 will There are many new highlights compared to previous years. In particular, the city will also organize incense offerings to commemorate the late Secretaries of the Hai Phong City Party Committee through the periods; organize visits and present gifts to localities that were the resistance bases of the Hai Phong - Kien An City Party Committee; present gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services, leaders and former leaders of the city through the periods, intellectuals, artists, and emulation fighters nationwide.

The city also decided to support each village and residential group with 10 million VND to organize art performances and festivals to create a vibrant atmosphere, responding to the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day right from the grassroots level. In the coming time, the city will direct relevant levels, sectors and units to start construction of 4 key projects and works and inaugurate 7 other key projects and works to celebrate the anniversary.

Along with that, from the end of April 30 to June 1, the whole city will continuously hold exciting cultural, artistic, physical education, sports, and tourism promotion events.

In particular, at the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day and the opening art program of the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025, high technology will be applied. Accordingly, using 3D Mapping technology on real scenes, creating magical transformations for the natural landscapes of Hai Phong; using semi-classical Symphony music for the first time, as a bridge to lead emotions for the "cinematic work" about Hai Phong over the past 70 years and the future; seamless structure like a panoramic film and bold about the culture, spirit and will of the people of the Red Flamboyant City...

To serve the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day and the opening of the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025, the city organized fireworks displays at 6 locations in the city; arranged sound, lighting and large LED screens (100 m2) in the 6 fireworks display areas and outside the event area to serve people who do not have the conditions to directly enter the stage.

Along with that, to be imbued with the character of the Port City, out of the more than 10 songs included in the program, 2/3 will be songs that "go with the years" about Hai Phong city; the artists and actors will also be selected from Hai Phong's children who are famous both nationally and internationally...

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also directed the announcement of new products for Hai Phong tourism. That is the luxury train named Hoa Phuong Do. The train has 20 carriages, each carriage will be designed with its own style. In particular, there are some VIP carriages for tourists so that people can experience Hai Phong culture. At Hai Phong Station, there will also be a Hai Phong Food Festival...
