On October 19, a clip was circulating on social media recording a scene where a male student riding a motorbike was repeatedly beaten with a helmet and hands by another male student after a traffic accident on the road. Immediately after, passersby were outraged, so they stopped the student who was beating the person and reported it to the police.
Through verification, the incident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on October 18 near the intersection of Nguyen Anh Thu - Bui Van Ngu street (bordering Tan Chanh Hiep ward, district 12 and Thoi Tam Thon commune, Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City).

According to the clip, two male students were riding a motorbike when suddenly a motorbike carrying two other male students passed them and hit them, causing them to fall to the ground. At this time, two male students also riding a motorbike approached from behind, the one sitting behind used his helmet and punched the male student driving the motorbike.
Not stopping there, this person also kicked the male student who was lying flat on the road. The beaten person could only hold his head and endure the beating. The male student who was with the beaten person panicked and ran away.
After the beating, the male student got into his car and left, but was stopped by passersby who called the local police. Initially, the authorities determined that the beaten student belonged to the District 12 Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center. The attacker was a student at the District 12 Technical and Economic College.
The police are currently coordinating with schools to clarify the incident.

Recently, the traffic police force of the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police and districts, Thu Duc City Police launched a campaign to handle students and parents violating the Traffic Law from October 1 to October 31.
