Tran Cong Quynh had a solo exhibition called "Where is Quynh Poster" held at the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association (5B Vo Van Tan, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) last year. He is a young designer who has created nearly 1,000 movie posters and many famous plays in Ho Chi Minh City.

Sticking with the poster design profession, contributing to creating impressions for movies and plays, Tran Cong Quynh has spent 8 years just creating beautiful posters with unique ideas.
Born in his hometown of Quang Nam, although he had never taken any design classes, Tran Cong Quynh, because of his passion, sought out and researched the design profession. What was more surprising was that Tran Cong Quynh loved the Cai Luong stage, and his desire was to spread the good things about Vietnamese culture to the Vietnamese people.

Talking about the process of implementing the "Thanh Tam Award" illustration project in the "Golden Cai Luong" project series, Tran Cong Quynh said that his team consisted of many separate groups according to each stage such as: 3D implementation group (Hong Son, Tien Dat, Thien Tran, Bill Nguyen, Hoang Phan); Illustration - modeling and coloring group (Quang Vinh, Yen Thao, Ngoc Hao, Yen Linh, Phuong Thanh); Post-production group (Minh Quy, Song An, Dinh Trong, Y Nhi). In addition, there are collaborators: Phuc Vuong, Dason Le, Tuan Anh, Khang Nguyen.

"We will exploit the good and beautiful things, the precious assets of this unique art form that only exists in Vietnam. Having worked in the theater for 10 years, I love and am passionate about Cai Luong. During my working days, I often sit and listen to older uncles and aunts tell stories about the previous generation - the "big trees" in the singing profession.
Once I heard that "this person, that person" had won the Thanh Tam award. I heard it so often that it became familiar. I wondered what this award was about that everyone was talking about so much. And then I researched, I was drawn into that "time stream" without realizing it, I secretly thought that interesting and good things like this need to be done to make them more accessible to the young generation, the generation that will take on the responsibility of preserving culture later when famous artists get old" - Tran Cong Quynh said.

And he went looking for like-minded people, people who were willing to work with him on non-profit cultural projects. At first, he encountered many difficulties, slander, and "prejudices" that doing cultural work required money.
He thought to himself, in this day and age, no one charges us for receiving cultural heritage, the foundations left by the past, the ao dai, the bronze drum patterns... But we do cultural work to leave for the next generation, why do we have to ask for money?
"Then by chance, I met people who were willing to "support" and continue to work together, so now there will be a "community illustration project about Thanh Tam award" that will be launched on September 26. I am really happy about this" - Tran Cong Quynh shared.

Talking about this project, he said that this is an audio-visual project, combining 3D rendering and special effects. Along with illustration and voiceover. There are also memories for those who have witnessed and lived in that period - the golden age of Cai Luong theater to better understand the value of a prestigious award, a continuation of the current Tran Huu Trang Award.

The images drawn about 24 artists who were honored to be included in Thanh Tam's "10-year journey" and through the creative lens of the crew - young people but with respect for the artistic value of the old Cai Luong stage, will certainly find sympathy with today's audience.
Tran Cong Quynh believes that in the future, the group will be more connected with artists, authors, directors, researchers... and especially the majority of audiences and supporters so that he and his friends will have more motivation to carry out more projects on reformed opera in particular and Vietnamese culture in general, in the digital information age where there is more or less incorrect information.
As one of the members of the advisory board of this project, Master - Teacher Bich Phuong commented: "This project comes from a young person who loves reformed theater. I think if you and your team do well, it will contribute practically to disseminating real information so that young people can better understand traditional national theater.
I accepted to be a consultant for the project from the heart of a young person who appreciates the value of the previous generation of artists, in which the artists who won the Thanh Tam Gold Medal Award are still considered to be the golden generation of the Cai Luong stage today.
The Thanh Tam Award is a prestigious award in the Cai Luong theater industry that existed from 1958 to 1968. The award was named after the pen name Thanh Tam of journalist Tran Tan Quoc, who was also the founder of this award with the desire to build a generation of Cai Luong artists with both talent and virtue. The highest award is the gold medal, but since 1965, there have been 2 more awards for Best Actor and Best Play of the Year.
There were 24 artists awarded the Thanh Tam Promising Gold Medal: Thanh Nga (1958), Lan Chi, Hung Minh (1959), Bich Son, Ngoc Giau (1960), Thanh Thanh Hoa (1961), Ngoc Huong, Anh Hong (1962), Tan Tai, Bach Tuyet, Diep Lang, Thanh Tu, Truong Anh Loan, Mong Tuyen (1963), Le Thuy, Thanh Sang (1964), Thanh Nguyet, Bo Bo Hoang (1965), Phuong Lien, Phuong Quang (1966), My Chau, Ngoc Bich, Bao Quoc, Phuong Binh (1967).
