(PLVN) - Hanoi Food Culture Festival 2024 with the theme "Hanoi connects five continents" takes place from 9am to 10pm for 3 days (November 29, 30 and December 1) at Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi.
Hanoi Food Culture Festival 2024 includes the following activities: Booth area; Photo exhibition area; Mobile book exhibition; Folk games, traditional and modern art performances; Exchanges and discussions.
The space of the Hanoi Food Culture Festival 2024 gathers booths from embassies of countries in Vietnam, typical traditional craft villages of Hanoi, typical culinary products of localities. The festival is a connecting space, creating conditions for embassies of countries, localities, businesses, organizations, individuals to meet, exchange, display and promote products, exchange, sign business cooperation agreements, expand markets, enhance brands, enhance reputation, contribute to promoting the culture and economy of the capital.
The festival includes many interesting activities such as: International cuisine area introducing typical dishes of countries and space displaying typical items and products of countries; area introducing typical culinary culture space of traditional craft villages and performances by artisans will recreate the space imbued with the traditional craft village associated with typical culinary heritage of Hanoi.
In addition, within the framework of the festival, there are photo exhibitions, mobile book exhibitions on culture, arts, and tourism; folk games, traditional and modern art performances, bringing a joyful and exciting atmosphere for visitors to experience at the festival...
At the Festival, many famous dishes of the Capital such as: Hanoi Pho, Ho Tay shrimp cakes, Phu Do vermicelli, Uoc Le ham, Vong village green rice, Me Tri green rice, sticky rice, Phu Thuong sweet soup, Tranh Khuc square glutinous rice cake, Phung spring rolls, Quan Ganh sticky rice cake, Phu Nhi rice cake, Quang Phu Cau porridge, Ha Mo lotus porridge, So village vermicelli... will be displayed and introduced to domestic and foreign tourists.
Hanoi Culinary Culture Festival 2024 aims to honor and preserve the traditional culinary cultural values of Hanoi Capital; effectively promote the diversity, quintessence, uniqueness and quality of the Capital's traditional cuisine to gradually contribute to building and promoting the image and brand of Hanoi Capital as an attractive culinary destination to domestic and international friends and tourists.
Strengthening the introduction and promotion of local culinary culture products and traditional craft villages; contributing to creating and expanding opportunities for investment, production, business cooperation, stimulating consumption and tourism; promoting the development of the Capital in a green and sustainable direction in all fields.
The festival also aims to enhance and promote people-to-people exchange, actively contributing to raising awareness, mutual understanding, strengthening solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the Vietnamese people in general and the capital Hanoi in particular with international friends.
