SANOFI updates information on new distribution activities for the product ALPHACHYMOTRYPSINE CHOAY®

Following Lotus’ announcement of the acquisition of Alphachymotrypsine Choay® in Vietnam and Cambodia from Sanofi, the two companies have issued a follow-up announcement providing updates on new distribution arrangements for the product to ensure continued supply to patients.

Sanofi changes new distributor for Alphachymotrypsine Choay® product in Vietnam

In September 2024, in Taiwan, Lotus Pharmaceuticals announced the transfer of ownership of the trademark, promotional activities and production line of Alphachymotrypsine Choay® from Sanofi. From here, the two companies continued to announce information on new distribution activities for the product in Vietnam, accordingly, Sang Pharmaceutical and Trading Company Limited ("Sangpharma") will carry out the distribution of the above product to ensure continuous supply of products to patients.

Sangpharma located at 11/9 Ngo Quang Huy Street, Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, will carry out distribution activities for Alphachymotrypsine Choay® products in Vietnam.

This transfer process helps ensure continuity in the supply of Alphachymotrypsine Choay® products in Vietnam, maintain product accessibility to patients and healthcare providers, and ensure continuity in customer care and support.

Alphachymotrypsine Choay® (chymotrypsine) is a widely used prescription drug in Vietnam, indicated for use in cases of edema after trauma, surgery or burns.
