At 7:30 a.m. on July 8, at Conference Center 25B (Thanh Hoa City), the 20th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council officially opened. This is a regular session, the Provincial People's Council will resolve many important contents to evaluate the results in implementing tasks in the first 6 months of the year, propose tasks and solutions to create conditions for socio-economic development in the last 6 months of 2024 and the following years.

Accordingly, the session will listen to, discuss and approve reports including: Socio-economic situation, national defense and security in the first 6 months of the year, key tasks in the last 6 months of 2024; announcement of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee on the work of the Front participating in government building and synthesizing voters' opinions and recommendations sent to the 20th Session, 18th Provincial People's Council; report of the Provincial People's Procuracy on the crime situation and prosecution work in the first 6 months of 2024; report of the Provincial People's Court on the work of trial and execution of criminal sentences in the first 6 months of the year and key tasks in the last 6 months of 2024; Provincial National Assembly delegation reports on the results of the 7th Session, 15th National Assembly...
Delegates also listened to and commented on the report of the Provincial People's Council on the results of monitoring the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction from 2021 to 2023 in Thanh Hoa province; Report of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the results of monitoring the implementation of legal provisions in state management of a number of conditional investment and business sectors on security and order in the province from 2021 to 2023; Report of the Cultural and Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the results of monitoring the implementation of regimes and policies for people with revolutionary contributions in the province, period 2021-2023; Report of the Ethnic Council of the Provincial People's Council on the results of monitoring the implementation of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas from 2021 to 2023.
Discussing in the hall and conducting a question and answer session; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke to receive and explain issues of concern to the Provincial People's Council delegates and voters in the province.
Reviewing Resolution 16 of the Provincial People's Committee to create conditions for socio-economic development and ensure national defense and security of the province in 2024 and the following years.
