Lights up 2 special shows "That Day Heaven's Gate"

On the evenings of April 24 and 25, at Tran Huu Trang Opera House (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), Trinh Kim Chi Drama Stage in collaboration with Saigon Business Club organized 2 performances of the play "That Day, Heaven's Gate" (author: Nguyen Khang Chien, director: People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, art direction: People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau).

The two performances are held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). 50% of the tickets issued will be donated to the armed forces, civil servants, students and pupils in Ho Chi Minh City.

The play Heaven's Gate Day tells the story of the lives of female youth volunteers, a force that always stands shoulder to shoulder with the army, directly undertaking the tasks of: paving the way; serving, participating in combat; clearing bombs and mines; transporting weapons, ammunition, food, logistics, etc. With the strength of youth, enthusiasm of youth, love of country and great desire for peace , the young girls joining the Youth Volunteer Force are always steadfast in their will, striving to overcome many hardships and dangers to complete their missions.

In the play, the song "The Girl Who Opens the Road " (composer Xuan Giao) is used in many scenes, like breathing more life into the atmosphere of the battlefield at Heaven's Gate, bringing to the audience many emotions and vibrations when remembering a time of war, a time of young heroes "Determined to die for the Fatherland".
