On the morning of April 24, the price of SJC gold bars was simultaneously pushed up by businesses such as SJC, PNJ, and DOJI to 118.5 million VND/tael for buying and 121.5 million VND/tael for selling, up 2 million VND/tael compared to the end of yesterday.

Compared to the historical peak, the price of gold bars is still about 2.5 million VND/tael lower. The difference between buying and selling prices has also been widened by businesses to 3 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, the prices of 99.99% gold rings and jewelry gold were increased by businesses at a slower rate than at the end of yesterday, around 113.5 million VND/tael for buying and 116.5 million VND/tael, recovering by about 1 million VND. Compared to the peak, the price of gold rings still decreased by about 3 million VND/tael.

On the free market, the price of SJC gold bars was reported by some stores at around 120 million VND/tael for buying and 122 million VND/tael for selling, up 2 million VND compared to yesterday.

Compared to the highest mark on the free market, stores have reduced prices by about 4 million VND.

SJC gold bar prices have fluctuated strongly in recent days.

Domestic gold prices have fluctuated strongly in recent days, increasing and decreasing rapidly due to the influence of world prices.

In the international market, the gold price, after falling sharply last night, reached its lowest point of only 3,263 USD/ounce. Immediately after that, the bottom-fishing demand in the session helped the gold price recover strongly. By this morning, at 9:00 am Vietnam time, the world gold price had increased again to 3,360 USD/ounce.

The fluctuation amplitude of gold price in one session is up to 100 USD/ounce. Compared to the peak of 3,500 USD/ounce set 2 days ago, gold price is still down about 200 USD/ounce.

According to analysts, gold prices are fluctuating according to the latest developments in the tariff policy between the US and China. In case the tariff negotiations are favorable and tensions ease, gold prices will plummet.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 106 million VND/tael, 10-15 million VND/tael lower than the price of SJC gold rings and gold bars.
